• Imaging Asteroid Bennu - Recent release 12.5.2021 • OSIRIS-REx has imaged Bennu better than we have Earth and our own Moon. Since its arrival at the asteroid on December 3, 2018, the spacecraft has discovered boulders the size of buildings, and imaged the surface down to 5 centimeter per pixel resolution. • Asteroid 101955 Bennu Rotating 24.9.2020 • This rotating mosaic of asteroid Bennu is composed of 40 images captured by the PolyCam imager onboard NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft over a four-hour period on December 2, 2018.
